MANDARIN, novice iI

This hybrid course is offering to maximum of 15 students each class with basic Mandarin language experience. After the nine weeks Novice I course, students will continue be introduced to Mandarin characters, word usage, sentence patterns and grammar.

  • Can understand commonly used expressions and catch the main point in a short conversation when it is conducted slowly and clearly.

  • Can understand short, simple texts on familiar matters of a concrete type which use high frequency every day or job-related language.

Students will not only develop their ability to speak, read, write within the Mandarin language, but they will have an opportunity to learn beyond the text, enriching their understanding of Chinese culture and customs.

  • CLASS MEETS: FRIDAYS 7:00~9:00 PM @ LYNBROOK HIGH SCHOOL, SAN JOSE, CA.

  • ONLINE CLASSES WILL BE CONDUCTED THROUGH THE ZOOM PLATFORM
