LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Classes at the Silicon Valley Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning are divided into 9 levels, from beginner’s level to advanced level.  International Competitiveness: English and Chinese + Digital Collaboration.

New students, excepts beginner I class students,  will take a placement test before school begins for us to assign them to the class that best suits their levels.  All classes are taught in Traditional Chinese/English and use Pinyin for pronunciation. We put emphasis on all four language skills, listening, speaking, reading, and writing/typing.

Students will not only develop their ability to listen, speak, read, write within the Mandarin language, but they will have an opportunity to learn beyond the text, enriching their understanding of Chinese culture and customs.
